This L-TEC SVI 450i CV/CC welding machine is a high-performance Constant Voltage (CV) / Constant Current (CC) 450-ampere industrial inverter power source that’s designed with adjustable output (voltage or current), slope, and inductance.
The unit is provided with necessary cables & a remote control unit.
Exclusive power MOSFET inverter technology combined with solid state electronics provides multi-process welding performance including MIG (short arc, spray arc, cored wire), Stick, TIG, & air carbon arc gouging.
The L-TEC SVI 450i CV/CC offers all this versatility and performance in one compact power source.
This power source is designed to operate in the CV mode for outstanding MIG short arc performance as well as MIG spray-arc & cored wire welding. It is compatible with ESAB’s full line of digital & conventional wire feeders for unmatched accuracy & performance.
The Constant Current (CC) mode for Stick, TIG (scratch-start), & air carbon arc gouging applications is provided by connecting one of the remote-control devices & selecting the CC process mode.
The power source’s electronic output (voltage or current) adjustment provides full-range regulation either locally from the front panel or from a remote control. A convenient panel-mounted digital meter provides selectable output voltage or current readings for welding accuracy.
The panel-mounted 3-step slope selector & variable inductance control allows the operator to select the optimum CV slope/curve characteristic and/or inductance condition required for your MIG welding application.
This ESAB L-TEC unit was bought from new & has been well looked after. It has been used on various construction sites for steel pipework and in our fabrication workshop Ilkeston for various structural steelwork.
It comes in good working order but is missing one of the control knobs on the front, but still works fine. The machine shows various signs of wear and tear which is evident due to it age and usage.
The welder includes the most recent calibration & electrical safety testing certification which was valid until Jan 2022. The welding power source is bought as seen & without any guarantee or warranty.
