OUR HISTORY
Rayden Engineering Ltd is a privately owned family business with over 45 years’ industry experience.
The company was established in 1979, by Richard Hayden who is well known throughout the pipeline industry and still leads the company today along with his son Brendan.
Originally setup as a specialist high pressure, steel pipeline fabrication and welding business for the gas industry, we have grown significantly to become a multi-disciplined engineering, fabrication, and construction business.
Offering fully project managed, turnkey services, we now cater for the needs of a diverse range of industries covering energy, power generation and distribution, to name a few.
Our fully certified and highly experienced team has a strong portfolio of successful projects, both nationally and overseas.
Typical projects include:
Cross-country pipelines and diversions, hot tap operations (welding & under-pressure drilling), AGI construction (all civil & mechanical works), custom inhouse prefabrication with final installation and commission with any related civil works.

We operate from our 4.5-acre head office site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
This houses our office-based staff along with our dedicated welding & fabrication workshop, paint shop & sandblasting, large outdoor prefabrication facility, extensive yard area and warehousing.

We own an extensive fleet of transport, machinery, equipment, and stock of spare parts.
This means we’re self-sufficient, don’t rely heavily on others and can quickly mobilise for any project or emergency.
