The rigorous two-day assessment included an in-depth review of our management systems and operational delivery, awarding full marks across Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and Sustainability disciplines.
This achievement marks our 13th consecutive year of successful Achilles verification, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted and proven delivery partner to the UK utilities sector.

PERFECT RESULTS ACROSS MSE & SITE AUDITS
Our 2026 audit included a detailed review of our management systems, followed by a site assessment within a live operational environment at our Shotton Mill project in North Wales.
Delivered for Eren Holding as part of the £1 billion Shotton Mill redevelopment, the project involves the installation of a new gas infrastructure network, including pipelines, a Pressure Reduction Station (PRS) and Above Ground Installations (AGIs) to support a hydrogen-enabled Combined Heat and Power (CHP) facility.
The site assessment reviewed performance from early delivery through to later-stage construction, independently verifying the high standards maintained across health & safety, environmental, quality and sustainability disciplines.

ACHILLES SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE
Introduced in 2025, the Achilles Sustainability Score benchmarks suppliers across four pillars of responsible business practice: Environment, Social, Governance and Financial performance.
This year, REL achieved a Sustainability Score of 75, maintaining a strong performance while continuing our journey towards the 80+ “Excellent” category reserved for top-performing suppliers across the Achilles network.
This result highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
