Following on from our recent ISO 9001 success, we’re excited to announce that we have also been recertified for UKAS BS EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems , the international standard for Environmental Management.

ABOUT ISO 14001:2015 QMS
ISO 14001 is a globally recognised standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It provides a best practice framework to enhance our environmental performance, ensuring more efficient use of our resources and reduction of waste.
By adhering to the standard, we take proactive measures to minimise our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and achieve our company environmental objectives.
The ISO 14001 EMS framework encompasses various aspects, such as: resource usage, waste management, monitoring environmental performance and involving our stakeholders in our environmental commitments.

RECERTIFICATION AUDIT
As with our ISO 9001 QMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS certifications, we’re regularly audited by our Accredited Certification Body SGS UK Ltd.
Our recent ISO 14001 recertification audit took place at our head offices over a three-day period, from March 25th to 27th, 2024. SGS conducted a deep analysis of our Environmental Management Systems to ensure that we continue to meet the criteria of the standard.
The audit found one minor non-conformance issue due to a mistakenly misplaced waste item. This was rectified immediately. Our recertification means we’re now ISO 14001:2015 EMS certified for the next three years and will only require a simple annual surveillance audit.
The SGS auditor was very complimentary about our systems, people, and procedures, something that’s always refreshing to hear.
