ABOUT ISO 3834-2:2021 WQMS
ISO 3834-2:2021 WQMS is a globally recognised standard that outlines the quality requirements needed for the fusion welding of metallic materials. It provides us a best-practice framework focusing on welding coordination, personnel competence, and proper equipment usage.
The standard defines quality across three levels of work:
- Grade 4: Basic
- Grade 3: Medium
- Grade 2: High
We’re certified to Grade 2, the most comprehensive Quality Standard available, enabling us to deliver the best level of quality currently possible for all our welding work.
To adhere to this rigorous standard, we have implemented all necessary controls, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with best practice methodology.
RECERTIFICATION AUDIT
We first gained certification in back in 2015 and undergo an annual reassessment by TUV UK Ltd, our Accreditation Body.
On January 29th, TUV UK conducted a recertification audit, performing an in-depth analysis of our processes, procedures, and systems to ensure our ongoing compliance with the standard.
Having passed our audit with flying colours, we are now certified for the next three years and only need to pass an annual surveillance audit, a much simpler process, rather than going through full recertification again
Auditor feedback was extremely positive, confirming that our Quality Management System is working to an extremely high standard.

ISO 3834-2:2021 is a crucial part of our overall Quality Management System, complementing other internationally recognised standards, including:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
- BS EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 Factory Production Control (FPC)
